After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holmes, First Flight was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Northeastern Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

First Flight was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.

First Flight's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Northeastern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. First Flight will take on rival Pasquotank County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northeastern is set to challenge their familiar foe Hertford County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
