First Flight's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Northeastern Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The Nighthawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

First Flight walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.

Ashlyn Hux paced First Flight's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hux got some help from Savannah Schnader and her 20 assists. McKenzie Dexter controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

First Flight's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Northeastern, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

First Flight wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Pasquotank County on the 18th. As for Northeastern, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Hertford County on the 18th.
