AJ Ortiz posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
