C.H. Yoe fell victim to La Vega's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a rough 4-0 loss at the hands of the Pirates. While losing is never fun, C.H. Yoe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 703rd, while La Vega is ranked 237th).
Meanwhile, sadly, Hearne is still looking for their first win of the season after nine games. They suffered a rough 4-0 defeat at the hands of Marlin on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hearne in their matchups with Marlin: they've now lost seven in a row.
C.H. Yoe's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8. As for Hearne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.
C.H. Yoe was able to grind out a solid victory over Hearne in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, winning 4-2. Will C.H. Yoe repeat their success, or does Hearne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
