Floyd Central had a senior duo take command as Braden Moore scored 16 points along with six blocks and five assists and Ronnie Samons scored 23 points along with five rebounds. The match was Samons' 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Boyd, who scored 14 points.
Floyd Central's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Seton LaSalle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
Floyd Central won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Avon at 4:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023.
