Despite the defeat, Desert Mountain saw an underclassman step up: freshman Caroline Workman dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Those 15 points gave Workman a new career-high. Liz Egan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first blocks of the season.
