The Hebbronville Longhorns struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats had eight more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Hebbronville was outmatched by Skidmore-Tynan on the road and fell 76-38. When it comes to explaining why Hebbronville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jeffery Shreve. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Joaquin Gonzales was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
It was another big night for Bennett Martinez, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists for Skidmore-Tynan. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Rivers, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
