Whitehall and Emmaus are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Zephyrs will head out to challenge the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Whitehall sitting on six straight victories and Emmaus on three.
Whitehall's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Parkland.
Not much got past Morgan Laub, who gave up just four hits to keep Parkland off the board. Laub has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Whitehall saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jules Muth, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Muth a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Emmaus got the win against Louis E. Dieruff on Tuesday by a conclusive 18-3. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by eight runs or more this season.
Emmaus got a massive performance out of Brianna Gitski, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Bennett, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Emmaus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 17 consecutive games.
Whitehall pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Emmaus, their record now sits at 15-3.
Both Whitehall and Emmaus just can't seem to miss. The Zephyrs have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Emmaus struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Whitehall came out on top in a nail-biter against Emmaus when the teams last played last Monday, sneaking past 8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Zephyrs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
