The Madison Dodgers posted their biggest win since December 20, 2023 on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Jefferson Township 54-24 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Madison sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Cassidy Ball and Kiley Shatzel certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Ball scored eight points along with six rebounds, while Shatzel scored two points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Shatzel pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Madison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Jefferson Township, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Hanover Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanover Park is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Jefferson Township, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against High Point at 4:00 p.m. High Point will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Jefferson Township is ranked 33rd).
