Jones' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keishaun Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robinson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Isaac Buckley, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Lake Minneola's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alvin Colbert, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daishaun Davis, who scored 12 points.
Jones' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Lake Minneola, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Jones will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Boone at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Boone is ranked 113th, while Jones is ranked 133rd). Lake Minneola won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. East Ridge comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
