Abington Heights has gone 9-1 against Scranton Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Abington Heights has six straight wins, Scranton Prep has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Scranton Prep's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Abington Heights hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Comets' pitcher stepped up to hand Valley View a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Comets have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Adrianna Condrad made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Condrad was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Avary Brister, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Eva Kane was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three runs.
Abington Heights lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in four consecutive matchups.
Scranton Prep might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-1 to North Pocono, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Abington Heights' victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Scranton Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Scranton Prep's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Abington Heights has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Scranton Prep, though, as they've been averaging only 2.7 strikeouts. Will Abington Heights keep running through batters, or will the Cavaliers buck the trend?
