Spanish Springs suffered their biggest loss since December 28, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a tough 62-38 defeat at the hands of Reno. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Spanish Springs in their matchups with Reno: they've now lost three in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Owen Hensley, who scored ten points. Josiah McBride was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six assists.
Meanwhile, Carson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 54-48 to McQueen.
Spanish Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Carson, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
