Prattville came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 7-4 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2015.

Hayden Lantz was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Prattville's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 11-18. As for Tuscaloosa County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-12 record this season.

Prattville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Tuscaloosa County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
