Georgia Christian's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Open Bible Christian with a sharp 18-0 win. The Generals have beaten Open Bible Christian the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Open Bible Christian has come to flipping the script.
Jett Guilliams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Colton Hall was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Mac Bowling was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Crisp Academy had to endure a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Byne Christian on Thursday as Crisp Academy made off with a 22-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Like Georgia Christian, Crisp Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Jacob Wilson. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wilson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and six RBI.
In other batting news, Crisp Academy let Wyatt Youngblood and Reese Reed run wild. Youngblood went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs, while Reed scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Wilk Stevens, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
The win got Crisp Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Georgia Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Everything went Georgia Christian's way against Crisp Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Georgia Christian made off with a 13-5 win.
