JAG has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. JAG has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 322 points over their last five matches.
Last Friday, JAG beat Dothan 61-51.
JAG got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Friendly out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ladarrin Hooper, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Stanhope Elmore's game on Friday was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 51-43 victory over Chilton County.
JAG's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Stanhope Elmore, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
JAG was able to grind out a solid win over Stanhope Elmore in their previous meeting last Thursday, winning 66-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for JAG since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
