Jace Chadez was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. Meanwhile, Payette entered their tilt with Firth on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 6-2.
Payette's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Michael Ocampo, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
