Eielson fell to Homer 21-33 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Eielson put a hurting on Homer to the tune of 63-6. The success made it back-to-back wins for Eielson.
Eielson's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 50 points in the first half. Homer came up with 6 to make it 50-6 heading into the break. The Eielson defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The victory bumped their record up to 3-1. Homer are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Eielson will stay at home next week against Barrow at 1:00 PM. As for Homer, they will face off against Ketchikan.
