Given Los Gatos' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Saratoga is ranked 755th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Scotty Brennan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan G. koch, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Los Gatos' victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Saratoga, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Gatos will take on Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilcox has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 265 points over their last four games. As for Saratoga, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. Homestead is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
