The Ravenna Ravens lost against the Cloverleaf Colts back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Ravenna had to suffer through a rough 69-40 loss at the hands of Cloverleaf. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ravenna in their matchups with Cloverleaf: they've now lost nine in a row.
Cloverleaf found their leader in underclassman Evie Barth, who scored 18 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Hibler, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Ravenna has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Cloverleaf, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Ravenna will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Field at 7:00 p.m. As for Cloverleaf, they will head out on the road to face off against Norton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norton will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
