Basketball Recap: Palmetto Skates Past Bayshore with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against IMG Academy, Palmetto was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Bayshore Bruins 80-48. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Bayshore still got an impressive performance from Keshawn Parhm, who posted 21 points and five rebounds. Parhm's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Enrique Viera was another key player, putting up ten points.

Palmetto's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Bayshore, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Palmetto wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-57 win against Southeast on the 16th. Bayshore has also already played their next match, a 63-58 loss against Braden River on the 16th.
