After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Dora, Mansfield was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Lutie Indians. The Lions not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 30th (when they won  3-0).
 The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8,  25-17.
Mansfield's offense was headlined by  Olivia Purdy and  Devynn Ball, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from  Addie Brooke and her 16 assists.  Jadalyn Coble controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
With the  win, Mansfield broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-23. As for Lutie, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
 Mansfield has already played their next match,  a  3-0  defeat against Gainesville on the 20th. As for Lutie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  loss against Miller on the 18th.
