Fort Myers came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against South Fort Myers, but Arthur Gallishaw wouldn't allow it. The Wolfpack simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Green Wave 42-7 with plenty of help from Gallishaw, who rushed for 318 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 16.7 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 151.2 rushing yards per game.

One reason for the win was South Fort Myers' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Fort Myers' QB won't forget Wyatt Skinner anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Skinner has been hot for a while, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last nine times he's played. Devontae Humphries was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 12 total tackles.

Special teams played a big role in the game for South Fort Myers, adding 12 points to the final score. All those points came courtesy of Julian Lopez: he added 12 points with four field goals.

The victory made it two in a row for South Fort Myers and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 21 points in those games. As for Fort Myers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

South Fort Myers will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Fort Myers, they will face off against Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
