The Tilden Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Goode STEM Academy Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tilden is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 86-13, which was the final score in Tilden's tilt against Uplift on Tuesday. Tilden was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-5.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Tilden struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Goode STEM Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Victoria Soto 64-26 on the road.
Tilden has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Goode STEM Academy, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
Tilden couldn't quite finish off Goode STEM Academy in their previous matchup back in January and fell 45-43. Can Tilden avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
