Forest Hills Eastern is a perfect 4-0 against Forest Hills Central since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the Rangers at 4:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
While Forest Hills Eastern didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Ottawa Hills with a sharp 31-13 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Forest Hills Eastern's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.6 runs over those games. As for Forest Hills Central, their record now sits at 5-3.
Forest Hills Eastern's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's contest. The Hawks have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Forest Hills Central, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Forest Hills Eastern continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Forest Hills Eastern's way against Forest Hills Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Forest Hills Eastern made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
