The biggest upset of the week belonged to Valley Christian, who took down 260th ranked Valley Christian, 35-28. Kevin Flemer threw for 376 yards and five touchdowns in the win.
St. Mary's moved up to 595 from 694 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Tri-County - Rock. The Panthers were able to make the jump by beating the Vikings 35-28.
Lorenzo Logwood was the best wideout in the league this week as St. Mary's beat Valley Christian. Logwood tallied four receptions for 140 yards. Liam Godfrey helped St. Mary's' passing attack out by catching four balls for 115 yards.
Christian Bustamante was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 77 yards on eight carries as St. Patrick/St. Vincent topped John Parrella's team. Marcus Villalobos also contributed to the rushing game with 20 yards on the ground.
St. Mary's' Flemer and Caleb Coleman have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Tri-County - Rock in both passing and receiving yards. Flemer has thrown for 1461 yards this season, while Coleman has 18 catches for 366 yards. Howard Wikle from the Vikings leads the league in rushing with 835 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Panthers take on Salesian. As it stands, St. Mary's is in fourth, while the Pride are in second.
El Cerrito extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Berean Christian, 52-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Gauchos.
