The Tri-State Christian Huskies lost against the Quad Cities Christian Eagles last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Tri-State Christian was dealt a 68-33 loss at the hands of Quad Cities Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tri-State Christian has scored all season.
Seth Karl was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds for Quad Cities Christian. Karl has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cobie Becker-Paradiso, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Tri-State Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Quad Cities Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
Tri-State Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Galesburg Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Andrew Summers and Will Cunningham. As for Quad Cities Christian, they will take on Unity Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
