Holden's Max Mickey recorded the longest rushing play in Missouri River Valley - East this season in his game against Richmond last week. Mickey's team beat the Spartans as he sprinted for 83 yards on the play and finished with 351 in all.
Lafayette County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Knob Noster, 41-12. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Huskers.
Holden's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jeff Miller has thrown for 342 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Austin Tevis has nine catches for 141 yards. Mickey leads the league in rushing with 1677 yards.
A big matchup in Missouri River Valley - East this week will be when Lexington takes on Lafayette County. The Minutemen are in fifth place, while Steve Cook's team is in first place.
The Huskers took down the Panthers 41-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
