Maret's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Addison Marcus, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Austin, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Maret's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Camas, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Maret will square off against San Joaquin Memorial at 10:55 a.m. on Saturday. Camas won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Whitney Young at 4:00 p.m. on December 8th. Whitney Young will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
