Christian Home Educators Fellowship is a perfect 6-0 against Acadiana Christian since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots will welcome the Acadiana Christian Lions at 2:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Psalms Christian Academy on Friday as Christian Home Educators Fellowship made off with a 20-4 win. With that victory, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.
Braxton Gautreau made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Gautreau was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Christian Home Educators Fellowship let Luke Babin and Caleb Whitehead run wild. Babin scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Whitehead scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Babin has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hank Pearce, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Acadiana Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Guardians 20-2. Considering the Lions have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lane Parks made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Parks was even better at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing six bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Parks is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stole at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Neal Osburn was a standout: he scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Oliver, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Acadiana Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Christian Home Educators Fellowship has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Acadiana Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 15.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Christian Home Educators Fellowship's way against Acadiana Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, as Christian Home Educators Fellowship made off with a 19-7 win. Will Christian Home Educators Fellowship repeat their success, or does Acadiana Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
