After a string of 12 wins dating back to last season, Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a hard 47-32 fall against the Battle Mountain Huskies. The game marked the Archers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Several Archers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Danica Candelaria, who posted 21 points. Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado will welcome Campion Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
