Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dayton). They put the hurt on the Linden Tigers with a sharp 25-0 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the game before.
Chris Ramirez was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Ramirez was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Dayton's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 8-11 when he doesn't).

Those five RBI gave Dasti a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Patrick Ferguson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
