On the hitting side, Savvanna Riall was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Charlotte Riehle was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Zionsville came out on top against McCutcheon on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Eagles took their match against the Mavericks 7-2.
The team relied heavily on Sylvia Mudis, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Hadley Bray, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Zionsville's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Greenfield-Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Greenfield-Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. However, it's not like Zionsville struggles in that department as they've averaged .355. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
