Despite the loss, Riverside Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Paris Autry scored 12 points. That was a full 44.4% of Riverside Christian Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Riverside Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Grace Christian pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.
Sarah Strong continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grace Christian, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 15 rebounds. Strong also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Icyss Storm was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Riverside Christian Academy's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-1. As for Grace Christian, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-0.
