In other batting news, Meeghan Meagher was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Serena Sailiai, who went 3-for-5 with four runs and one RBI.
Federal Way was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .581. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Beamer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Federal Way, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Beamer's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's match. The Titans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Federal Way, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Beamer continue to outrun the ball?
