Bishop Kenny made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,398 from 1,623. The improvement was the result of 41-0 victory over Parker last week.
Clay's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jake Smith has thrown for 907 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Wes Weeks has 29 catches for 539 yards. Bilal Ally leads the league in rushing with 428 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Bishop Kenny takes on second place Baker County. The Crusaders topped the Braves last week, while Baker County bested Forrest.
Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when Bishop Kenny and the Wildcats meet this week. Mark Thorson's team features well-regarded junior Wolford while Baker County has Cece Jefferson, a sought after sophomore.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Crusaders take on Ryan Sulkowski's team. Bishop Kenny has allowed 142 points this season, while the Wildcats have given up 183. The Crusaders allowed 0 points last week as they defeated Parker.
Baker County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Rebels.
