Volleyball Recap: Armijo Has No Trouble Against Fairfield

Armijo won the last time they faced Fairfield and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Royals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Royals this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 27-25.

Fairfield's loss came despite strong showings from Bea Balomadres and Ella Collado. Balomadres had three digs and three aces, while Collado had six assists.

The win (which was Armijo's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. As for Fairfield, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Armijo will challenge Johnson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairfield has already played their next contest (against Bethel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
