The Leadership Academy Falcons will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Southwestern Randolph Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th.
Leadership Academy struggled with assists last Friday (Bishop McGuinness had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Leadership Academy took a serious blow against Bishop McGuinness, falling 58-16. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Leadership Academy has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Leadership Academy had strong showings from Emmy Guldberg, who scored ten points along with five rebounds, and Addy Guldberg, who scored a points along with nine rebounds. Guldberg is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Southwestern Randolph entered their tilt with Providence Grove with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Southwestern Randolph walked away with a 63-53 victory over Providence Grove on Tuesday.
Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Southwestern Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
