The Princeton Eagles had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 68-66 victory over Loyalton. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Princeton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Junior Andrade, who scored 22 points along with three steals. Andrade is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Corwyn Roberson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds.

Shelby is crushing the block category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Gus Petterson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Princeton's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Loyalton, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.
Princeton will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loyalton, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Lumberjacks at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
