After losing to the Cypress Creek Coyotes the last time they met, the Zephyrhills Bulldogs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Zephyrhills blew past Cypress Creek 72-49.
Despite the loss, Cypress Creek still got an impressive performance from Caleb Edmonds, who scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Medina, who scored two points along with four steals.
Zephyrhills now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cypress Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zephyrhills will take on Land O' Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cypress Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Anclote at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Anclote is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
