Young Americans Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kassidy Scott out in front who scored 11 points along with seven steals and six assists. Scott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Shelby Housworth, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Central Georgia Arts' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Young Americans Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Georgia Arts will square off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rock Springs Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday. Young Americans Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dominion Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Dominion Christian is ranked 272nd, while Young Americans Christian is ranked 285th).
