Heritage is 10-0 against Sequoyah since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Heritage Mountaineers will venture away from home to face off against the Sequoyah Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Heritage has four straight wins, Sequoyah has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Heritage will head into Tuesday's matchup having proved themselves against Lenoir City: Heritage took a 41-point defeat the last time they faced off against Lenoir City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Heritage had just enough and edged Lenoir City out 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountaineers have posted since November 14, 2023.

Meanwhile, Sequoyah came up short against South-Doyle on Tuesday, falling 57-34.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Sequoyah, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Heritage took their victory against Sequoyah when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 56-31. Will Heritage repeat their success, or does Sequoyah have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
