La Joya Community extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jaseer Willis. The Fighting Lobos walked away with a 65-55 victory over the Washington Rams on Thursday with plenty of help from Willis, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.
Another player making a difference was Landri Pinckney, who posted ten points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.
Washington lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Wisdom Woods, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
