The Bishop Kelley Comets will head out on the road to face off against the Grove Ridgerunners at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Bishop Kelley took a serious blow against Collinsville, falling 82-51.
Meanwhile, Grove had to suffer through a rough 100-32 loss at the hands of Booker T. Washington. While losing is never fun, Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Booker T. Washington is ranked 50th).
Bishop Kelley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Bishop Kelley came up short against Grove in their previous meeting back in March, falling 57-45. Can Bishop Kelley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
