The Crestwood Red Devils fell victim to the Perry Pirates''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Pirates 56-0. While losing is never fun, Crestwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 540th, while Perry is ranked 24th).
Among those leading the charge was Jayden Studio, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. Studio was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 63 yards.
Crestwood now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Perry, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Perry will square off against Sandy Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sandy Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
