Socastee can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Myrtle Beach Seahawks with a sharp 11-3 victory. The Braves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Logan Cook made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for Socastee: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-7 otherwise. Cook was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Wyatt Lane was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2025. Jace Crowther was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Socastee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Socastee's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Myrtle Beach, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Socastee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Seahawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
