Romeoville moved up to 170 from 234 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwest Prairie. The Spartans were able to make move up by topping Plainfield Central 50-12.
Romeoville's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kelvin Jones threw for 133 and 2 touchdowns and Rocky O'Conner had 73 yards receiving. On the ground Gill Whitaker chipped in 137 yards. Charles Hunter helped Romeoville's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 31 yards.
