Concordia lost against Omaha South back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Packers who were credited with the victory. The Omaha South Packers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Concordia Mustangs' two. Concordia's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Abbi Gibbs, who's now up to 20 this season.

Concordia's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Omaha South, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

Concordia wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Benson on the 26th. As for Omaha South, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Westview on the 26th.
