Keota had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 44-0 win over the Gans Grizzlies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Keota will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wesleyan Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Gans, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 50-20 defeat against Oaks-Mission on the 5th.
