While Mid-Carolina put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Columbia. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Capitals. Considering the Rebels have won nine games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Mid-Carolina and bumps their season record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Columbia, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Mid-Carolina will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Capitals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
