The De La Salle Cavalier will be playing in front of their home fans against the Willow Lions at 5:30 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
De La Salle's game on Tuesday was all tied up 18-18 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Salmen. De La Salle has struggled against Salmen recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Willow's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. The contest between them and Booker T. Washington wasn't particularly close, with Willow falling 49-35. While losing is never fun, Willow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while Booker T. Washington is ranked 111th).
De La Salle's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Willow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
